We are thrilled to announce our new charity partner The Willett Basketball Foundation. With basketball playing a huge role in both the brothers’ lives growing up and even now, partnering with a basketball foundation was something that was to come sooner or later. Basketball was a safe haven for the brothers away from life’s troubles and with their teammates that turned into families. They are grateful to have this opportunity to give back to a sport that gave so much to them.
This foundation is a non-profit that gives back to the community by teaching, developing, and inspiring leadership in youth by creating a level playing field for all. The Willett Basketball Foundation creates opportunities for the youth to get elite professional training to help them build skills and confidence in sports and life.
Ordering one of the Willet Basketball Foundation branded menu items directly supports this foundation. You can also donate directly to their site: www.willettbasketballfoundation.com
We are very proud to be partnered with Mealshare, a non-profit dedicated to fighting hunger throughout Canada and around the world. For every Mealshare branded menu item purchased at our restaurant, one meal will then be provided to a youth in need. Half the meals provided by Mealshare stay right here in Calgary, while the other half are provided internationally. There is no extra fee or action required. Just order a Mealshare branded menu item and you'll be turning your dining out into helping out. Learn more at www.mealshare.ca
We have partnered with KidSport Calgary, a local chapter of KidSport Canada, which is a national not-for-profit organization that provides financial assistance for registration fees and equipment to kids aged 18 and under. Nationally, KidSport is comprised of a network of 11 provincial/territorial KidSport chapters and 178 community KidSport chapters.
Since its creation in 1993, over 530,000 kids across the country have been given the chance to play sport through KidSport grants and sport introduction programming. Both the brothers played sports their whole lives, and even up to this day. They learned structure, discipline and great work ethic and they believe that every child should have the opportunity like they did.
We donate 3% of our online ordering sales directly to KidSport. Visit www.kidsportcanada.ca if you would like to learn more or to donate directly to KidSport Calgary.
